Salesforce Tower

Mixed use facility in Indianapolis, IN

By the numbers

  • Three lanes (one entry, two exits)

  • 1,644 vehicles per month on average

  • 30 tenant companies

Salesforce Tower, a premier mixed-use facility in Indianapolis IN, has transformed its parking operations by adopting SPACES integrated License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology.

Challenge

Before adopting SPACES technology, Salesforce Tower faced challenges that are common to high-demand parking facilities:

  • Manual processes and miscommunication during validations led to entry and exit delays, causing customer frustration

  • Inconsistent revenue tracking and high maintenance costs for manual systems made it harder for the facility to operate efficiently

Solution

High-accuracy LPR technology & digital parking validation Salesforce Tower implemented SPACES high-accuracy LPR technology to automate parking access and validation. This simplified the process for more than 600 validated monthly parkers, accounting for up to 37% of total parks.

Results

Enhanced efficiency and reduced wait times SPACES technology has significantly improved entry and exit times at Salesforce Tower. The average LPR-enabled entry time is less than 6 seconds.

Increased revenue  From July to September of 2024, Salesforce Tower generated $104,503.55 in revenue. Compared to historical data, this reflects the positive financial impact of the SPACES upgrade, particularly during seasonal events like a Taylor Swift concert in November of 2024, which saw a surge in transient parkers.

Reduction in support calls Call volumes have decreased since implementing SPACES, with customer support interactions accounting for only 3-5% of total parks during Q3 of 2024.

Easier parking User journeys in October of 2024 showcased that approximately 90% of registered and first-time parkers completed their journeys without assistance. When support was needed, 8-9% were assisted within 2 minutes by call center agents. Only 2.6-3% required operator intervention.
